On this show we discussed the new film, Parrot Confidential, by award winning filmmaker, Allison Argo. There are many problems associated with having parrots as pets due to their complex social behavior, and long lifespans. Consequently, there are thousands of parrots in sanctuaries needing adoption, because families often give them up or abandon them. Argo brings all her talents to the table in creating a beautiful, poignant and hopeful film about these wonderful animals and their lives with people. Also joining her on the show was Karen Windsor, Executive Director, Foster Parrots, which is one of the most active parrot rescues in the world. If you have a parrot or are thinking of adopting one, you are going to want to listen to this show and watch Parrot Confidential.
