Then Darlene Kobobel, President of the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center returns to discuss the many problems related to wolf-dog hybrids, properly called wolfdogs. You will want to think twice before buying one!
Then, author and historian Kate Kelly joins Lori to tell us about the really neat story of the origins of the Audubon Society highlighting the heroic and visionary actions of Harriet Lawrence Hemenway. Kate’s website is America Comes Alive.
Following that, we discuss our close encounters with scorpions, and then speak with Conservationist Matt Ellerbeck, to learn more about these arachnids.
In the final segment, we talk about our photography habits as we document every precious moment in the lives of our dogs and cats. Also, it’s Cesar Chavez Day and Eric Mills from Action for Animals explains Chavez’s compassionate beliefs about both animals and humans.
