The show begins with Dr. Jeffrey Younggren, Clinical and Forensic Psychologist at University of Missouri. Lori and Jeffrey discuss the current legal and regulatory status of service animals (usually dogs) and Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). There is a lot of misinformation and confusion regarding where the animals are allowed to go. Dr. Younggren also provides his opinion on which professionals should properly certify the use of ESAs.
Veterinarian Robert Reed then discusses the use and misuse of hemp and THC containing products for pets. Listen in to find out what if any value (or risks) hemp products and THC have to the health of dogs and cats.
The show continues with legal expert Bob Ferber who gives his opinion about the sentence handed down to a man convicted of killing a police dog while he was resisting arrest, and in particular, whether the 3 ½ year prison sentence was appropriate.
Peter and Lori then conclude with reviews of some of their favorite pet products they recently tested. Mentioned are: West Paw Design’s Qwizl and Tux treat toys and the Jive dog ball, Starmark’s The Dog Zone training system, Messy Mutts pet beds, Beco Pets Donut bed, and Beco Pets food bowls.
