On this show Lori welcomed Frances Carlisle, a New York based attorney who specializes in estate planning. Frances is a nationally known expert in advising clients how to make sure their dogs, cats and other nonhuman family members are taken care of when the guardians are no longer around. Too many of us do not think this out carefully enough, and Carlisle explained the various options to give everyone peace of mind.
Peter then welcomes Adam Roberts to talk about The Elephant Project, an innovative plan to create a huge sanctuary for captive elephants that are in need of long- term homes in Myanmar. An associated real estate development, with views of the elephants, will provide funding.
We conclude with Peter’s close encounter with a family of javelinas, and a challenging little quiz about animals from around the globe.
