Dog parks can be wonderful places, but the risks and hazards to people and dogs in and around the parks are real. Then, Lori welcomed Veterinary Neurologist Stephen Hanson to discuss Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome in dogs (also known as Doggie Dementia). Dr. Hanson discussed risk factors, early symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of this surprisingly common condition. To conclude the show, we shared our thrilling experiences with snakes and spiders in our desert neighborhood, and how we overcame our fears to humanely relocate them. |
