First, Lori welcomed Los Angeles based attorney Ken Phillips, who specializes in legal issues related to dogs. Ken is a nationally renowned authority who has made many media appearances. Dog parks can be wonderful places, but the risks and hazards to people and dogs in and around the parks are real. Ken shared his decades of expertise to increase our knowledge and awareness about what can go wrong at dog parks, so everyone can have fun and stay safe. Ken’s website is here.

Then, Lori welcomed Veterinary Neurologist Stephen Hanson to discuss Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome in dogs (also known as Doggie Dementia). Dr. Hanson discussed risk factors, early symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of this surprisingly common condition.
