The show begins with Lori sharing her research on which Thanksgiving foods can be shared with pets, including suggested modifications of traditional dishes and ingredients to avoid. Then, Peter joins in as they discuss the absurd tradition of the Presidential turkey pardon.
The show continues with Veterinarian Dr. Robert Reed, giving us the latest on prevention and treatment of heartworm disease. Then, what special talents do your cats have? Our cat Ringo deftly opens doors, leading us to change many handles to doorknobs.
We then review another batch of our favorite products of 2017. Mentioned are the DOOG Walkie Belt and Walkie Bag, Whimzees Dental Chews, California Canine collars, leashes and shirts, and Doc & Phoebe’s Indoor Hunting Feeder.

Food is on everyone’s mind this time of the year as we count down to Thanksgiving Day, and our pets are no exception. They live, sleep and play alongside us, so it’s only natural that they want to get their paws on whatever we’re eating as well. And who can blame them? Peer into a bag of pet food and it’s easy to see (and smell) why our dinners seem more delicious.
