This show begins with Attorney Bruce Wagman, who represents Front Range Equine Rescue in legal efforts to oppose horse slaughter for consumption. He has been working on horse slaughter litigation for almost 10 years, and tragic fate of many horses in the US is hidden from public view. Front Range Equine Rescue is working had to end the killing of horses domestically as well as the transport of horses to other countries for slaughter.
Then, February 27th is International Polar Bear Day, and Lori tests our knowledge about these threatened animals. The show continues with revelations about Justice Scalia’s hunting activities, and the mysterious Order of St. Hubertus, an ancient hunting group. Attorney Bob Ferber then discusses the competing rights of airline passengers with emotional support animals and innocent bystanders who may not want to be seated next to a turkey.
The show concludes with Barbara Gates from, Lean and Green Kids, discussing its efforts to bring plant based eating for youth into the mainstream.
